Epson troubleshooting steps
I've got a Mac OS X with a 10.6.5 version program. The Guttenberg (excuse spelling) driver functions, but the graphics printing has flaws. I want to get the Epsom driver working on the Mac. The Epsom software is the latest easy print 2009, and after setup, it was available for selection in the list of available printers and seemed to install okay.
I have tried reinstalling, rebooting and also have followed Epson's troubleshooting pages, including resetting the printers and fixing permissions. When I click “alternatives supplies" about the “printers and faxes window" and then “utility" and then “open printer utility," it tells me that Epson printer usefulness 4 cannot be implemented or the printer isn't registered with this software and cannot function correctly using the current connections. Is there someplace else on the PC where I must let it use the USB to publish, or do I have to register it using the PC or using Epson? Please assist.
